The First XI Cup is the Premier Secondary Schoolboys Competition for Years 9 – 13.
In each district there are regional qualifiers to reach the First XI Cup National Finals. The Otago First XI Cup Regional Qualifiers will be consist of 50 over cricket across the 3 days.
The winner of the Otago First XI Cup Regional Qualifiers will head to the First XI Cup National Finals to be held in December, at the New Zealand Cricket High Performance Centre in Lincoln (date TBC).
