The Bates Cup is the Premier Secondary Schoolgirls Competition for Years 9 – 13.
In each district there are regional qualifiers to reach the First XI Cup National Finals. The Otago Bates Cup Regional Qualifiers will consist of T20 cricket and involve a round robin with the 1st and 2nd placed teams playing in the final.
The winner of the Otago Bates Cup Regional Qualifiers will head to the First XI Cup National Finals to be held in December, at the New Zealand Cricket High Performance Centre in Lincoln (date TBC).
