MCCULLUM CUP

What?

The ‘McCullum Cup’ was designed as a pre-season tournament aimed at helping school cricket teams get back into our summer game. Played in Dunedin across the course of two days (Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th October 2021), the Twenty20 format allows each team to experience four games, giving our players a great lead in to the 2021/22 cricket season.

Grades?

The 2021 ‘McCullum Cup’ will be made up of 3 separate grades; The Cup, The Shield, and the Development grades.

The Cup & Shield grades will play 4 x fixtures total over two days play, including 3 x pool play games, and an additional 'ranked' fixture on Sunday. The Tournament Levy of $325.00 for this grade is inclusive of 2 x Kookaburra Senator (White) balls, ground hire and an umpire per game. Teams will be expected to provide their own scorer, wickets, and device for scoring on CricHQ.

The Development Grade will look to play 3 x 15-Over games on Saturday the 24th of October, with Sunday the 24th locked in as back-up in the case of rain. The Tournament Levy of $60.00 for this grade is inclusive of 1 x Kookaburra Crown (Orange) ball and ground hire. Teams will be expected to provide their own umpire/scorer & device for scoring on CricHQ. OCA will provide all wickets, boundary flags, etc.
