Pulse Energy Partnership

 Otago Cricket

Otago Cricket Association is proud to announce a new partnership with Pulse Energy, one of New Zealand’s leading power providers.

Pulse Energy is a 100 percent community owned energy retailer that supplies electricity, gas and broadband to customers throughout New Zealand

This partnership will see Pulse Energy showcase its branding across all three free to air televised Dream11 Super Smash double header matches in Alexandra this summer.

We are excited to promote the Pulse Energy Kids Coaching Clinic that will be held on 2nd January in Alexandra with Otago Volts & Sparks players involved.  These clinics are popular and help to grow cricket in the Central Otago community, as well as offering young players the opportunity to engage with their heroes.

Otago Cricket CEO Mike Coggan indicated how special it was to be back at Alexandra and with the great support of the local community.  “We have not been back to Alexandra to play Super Smash since pre Covid, so we are extremely grateful to Pulse Energy, who are a new major signage partner, and play a significant role across the wider region.”

“We are also appreciative of the support of the Central Otago District Council together with a further eleven (11) Central Otago businesses who have each come together to ensure the success of three special Super Smash double headers.”

“As a community-owned company, with South Island origins, the partnership with Otago Cricket is a perfect fit. We’re delighted to be powering New Zealand’s most popular summer sport and supporting young players through the cricket coaching clinics in Alexandra,” says Pulse Energy Chief Executive Officer Sharnie Warren.
