The Gillette Cup is the premier secondary schoolboys competition for Years 9 – 13. The Otago Competition is run in a Top 6 format with the winner of the Super Smash Schools T20 competition joining the top 5 schools from the previous years competition.
The winner of the Gillette Cup will head to the National Finals to be held in December, at the New Zealand Cricket High Performance Centre in Lincoln. Entries for this Tournament will close on Friday the 4th of November.
Gillette Cup "Top-Six" Qualifying Dates 2020/21:
Sunday 14th March, 2021: Team 3 vs Qualifier, & Team 4 vs Team 5 (Reserve Day 19th Mar)
Sunday 21st March, 2021: Semi-Finals, & Team 5 v Team 6 (Reserve Day 26th Mar)
Sunday 28th March, 2021: Gillette Cup Region Final (3rd/4th place – based on highest rank loser) (Reserve Day 26th Mar)
